1. First contact
Commissioning a mural decoration is much like having a contractor build a room addition, a deck, or a patio. The artfarm will provide a portfolio with examples of possibilities and can be very flexible in style to accommodate their work with the surrounding environments.
2. Free In-Home Consultation
The artist will come to the client's home or office to discuss the custom mural project. We will begin with developing any ideas on the design and general concept of the mural or trompe l'oeil decoration. We welcome any pictures, photographs, or magazine clippings of specific images we can base the design on.
3. Custom Mural Proposal
Finally we will conclude our consultation with several quick sketches that give a clear idea of the custom mural and show any major design features. These ideas will be incorporated in drafting a detail proposal for the entire project.
4. On-Site Work
The artfarm will create the custom mural on the interior or exterior wall surface. We use acrylic paints with long lasting coatings to ensure that the unique artwork will endure the elements for years to come.
